FLINT - The Mott Community College men's basketball team started strong and rolled to a win over Alpena Community College in the final game of the 2024 Roundball Classic on Saturday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
The Bears took a 13-point lead at the half after holding the Lumberjacks to just 15 points in the first 20 minutes. Mott cruised in the second half and took a 75-46 win to move to 9-3 overall this season.

Kevin Tiggs Jr. led the Bears with 16 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double.

Teon Armstrong added 14 points and three steals.

Miles Beard hit four 3-pointers to finish with 14 points.

Kimari Barden recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks.

Kylen Clark added six points, five rebounds, and five assists.

The Bears shot 27-of-68 from the field, 9-of-31 from deep, and 12-of-20 from the line. Mott won the rebounding battle 42-37.
