FLINT - The Mott Community College men's basketball team emerged with a win over Kellogg Community College in a back-and-forth battle on Saturday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
With the score tied nearing one minute to play, Donnie Huddleston hit a 3-pointer to put the Bears ahead. Kellogg had a prime chance to tie the game with three attempts at the line after a foul on a 3-point shot. After making the first two, the last attempt missed the mark and Mott held on for an 83-82 victory.
The win is the second for the Bears this season and moves Mott to 7-6 overall as the team approaches conference play.

Tyler Wooten led the way with 33 points, including four 3-pointers. He was 11-of-17 at the free-throw line.

Reggie Bagley added 17 points with three 3-pointers. He added five rebounds.
