BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Mott Community College men's golf team earned a spot in the national championship with its performance at the recent NJCAA Region 12 Championship at the Bedford Valley GC in Battle Creek, Mich.

The Bears finished in fourth place, with the third best score among DII programs to claim a bid to the 2025 NJCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship to take place May 20-23 at the Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Ind. 

Mott carded a team score of 954 over the three-round event, one stroke ahead of Marian-Ancilla to claim the region's final spot in the national championship. 

AJ Liguori led the Bears with a ninth-place finish, earning medalist honors.
