Hines Leads Mott Postseason Honorees

FLINT - The Mott Community College softball team picked up several postseason awards from the MCCAA and the NJCAA Region XII, it was announced on Tuesday.

Arika Hines led the Bears honors, earning MCCAA Eastern Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Alexis Hemker and Gracie Cantley joined Hines on the Region XII All-Region Team. 

Mott Honorees: 

  • Hines: MCCAA Eastern Conference Player of the Year, NJCAA Region XII, All-MCCAA Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference First Team.

  • Hemker: NJCAA Region XII, All-MCCAA Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference First Team.

  • Cantley: NJCAA Region XII, All-MCCAA Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference First Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Freshman Team.

  • Keira McGarvie: All-MCCAA Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference First Team.

  • Josie Spencer: MCCAA Eastern Conference Second Team.

  • Katelyn Stallings: MCCAA Eastern Conference Second Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Freshman Team.

  • Mya Martinez: MCCAA Eastern Conference Honorable Mention.

  • Parker Beardsley: MCCAA Eastern Conference Honorable Mention.

  • Head Coach Terry Warner: MCCAA Eastern Conference Coach of the Year.
