Dotson scores 31 in loss at WCCCD

DETROIT - The Mott Community College women's basketball team dropped a back-of-forth contest to Wayne County Community College on Wednesday in Detroit. 

Kyndall Dotson scored 31 points, but the Bears fell just short in a 70-68 loss. The result drops Mott to 10-8 overall and 0-4 in the MCCAA.

Mott Highlights:

• Dotson scored a career-high 31 points, hitting 17-of-18 free throws, while adding three steals. 

• Ella Prevost narrowly missed a triple-double with 10 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, while adding three steals. 

• Chloe Thompson added 10 points and five rebounds, while Madelyn Wright finished with six points and nine rebounds. 

• Anna Prevost recorded six points and five assists off the bench for the Bears. 

• Mott shot 21-of-68 from the field, 6-of-17 from deep, and 20-of-23 from the line.
