Anderson, Dotson, Zinn announce next steps
FLINT - Following the first season under Head Coach Ryan Trevithick, the Mott Community College women's basketball team is proud to celebrate three former Bears moving on to continue their careers at four-year institutions.
Kyndall Dotson, Ali Anderson, and Ryleigh Zinn have each committed to play in the 2026-27 after competing for Mott last season. Dotson will join NCAA Division II member Saginaw Valley State University. Anderson is set to move to the University of Michigan-Dearborn, while Zinn has committed to Rochester Christian University.
Dotson played in 45 games over two seasons, averaging 13.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game. The Flint native was named to the All-MCCAA Eastern Conference Team as an honorable mention last season.
Anderson joins the NAIA's UM-Dearborn after averaging eight points and 5.4 rebounds per game in 48 appearances over the last two seasons.
Zinn joined the Bears last season and in her lone year with the Bears averaged 8.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
