Elliott named MCCAA Player of the Week

FLINT - The Mott Community College volleyball team continued the start to the 2025 season last week with six matches. The Bears went 3-3 and moved to 4-8 overall on the season. 

Freshman Maggie Elliott led the Mott offense and earned her first MCCAA Eastern Conference Player of the Week honor. The Freeland, Mich., native recorded 66 kills with a .182 hitting percentage in 18 sets for the Bears, adding 40 digs and three total blocks. 

The Bears return to action against Lansing Community College at 6:30 pm on Thursday in Lansing.
