FLINT - The Mott Community College volleyball team opened the home portion of the 2025 schedule with a four-set win over Edison State Community College on Wednesday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
After dropping the first set, the Bears took control, winning in four sets (18-25, 25-11, 25-22, 25-17). The win is the fifth in six matches as Mott (7-7) now moves into the MCCAA Conference schedule this week.
Mott Highlights:

Reigning MCCAA Eastern Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week Maggie Elliott led the way with 28 kills on 72 attempts, while adding 10 digs and four service aces.

Destany Clymer added nine kills.

Averee Berard had 17 digs and four total blocks, while Chloe Wright added a team-high 21 digs.

Peyton Spicer recorded a team-high six total blocks, while Emily Morris added four.

Laura Mabrey finished with 10 digs and a pair of service aces.
