Wright earns MCCAA Defensive honor

FLINT - The Mott Community College volleyball team continues to pile up MCCAA weekly honors with Chloe Wright taking home her first award after a strong performance last week. 

Wright earned the MCCAA Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week award, marking the fifth award for the Bears this season. 

The Davison, Mich., native recorded 27 total digs, averaging 4.5 per set. She added a perfect receiving percentage in 24 chances. 

The Bears topped Oakland Community College on the road on Monday in three sets. Mott returns home to host Henry Ford College at 7 pm on Wednesday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
